Lancaster City Museum

The building dates back to 1783 with an 1870 extension. Displays of local archaeology, social history, Royal Lancashire Militia and the Kings Own Royal Lancaster Regiment. The building was the Town Hall between 1783-1909. All displays recently refurbished. Building totally accessible to people with disabilities.
